These terms and conditions govern your use of the VirtualAxis website (virtualaxis.dev) and any freelance services provided by Anand Mistry trading as VirtualAxis, based in Leicester, United Kingdom. By using this website or engaging my services, you agree to these terms.

1. Website Use

This website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate enquiries about freelance web development services. You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the site.

2. Services

VirtualAxis provides freelance front-end web development services including but not limited to interactive 3D website development, motion and animation, and general front-end development. The specific scope, timeline and cost of any project will be agreed in writing before work begins.

3. Project Agreements

All projects are subject to a separate written agreement or proposal outlining the specific scope of work, deliverables, timeline and payment terms. These terms and conditions apply in addition to any such project agreement. In the event of a conflict, the project agreement takes precedence.

4. Payment

Payment terms are agreed on a per-project basis and outlined in the project proposal. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is structured in milestones tied to key stages of the project. Each milestone is completed and approved before moving forward, with payment made at each stage. This keeps the process transparent and ensures everything progresses smoothly for both parties.

• A deposit may be required before work begins to secure the project
• Further payments are made at agreed milestones throughout the project
• Final payment is due upon project completion before handover of files
• Late payments may result in work being paused until payment is received

5. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, the client receives full ownership of the final deliverables produced specifically for their project. I retain the right to display the work in my portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing. All third party assets, libraries and tools used in the project remain subject to their own licences.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete project requirements in a timely manner
• Supplying any necessary content, assets or materials required for the project
• Reviewing and providing feedback within agreed timeframes
• Ensuring they have the rights to any materials they provide

7. Revisions

The number of revisions included in a project will be agreed upfront. Requests for work outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional charges, which will be communicated clearly before any additional work begins.

8. Cancellation

If a client wishes to cancel a project, they should notify me in writing as soon as possible. Any work completed up to the point of cancellation will be charged at the agreed rate. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VirtualAxis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of deliverables or this website. My total liability in connection with any project shall not exceed the total fees paid for that project.

10. Confidentiality

I treat all client information as confidential and will not share project details, business information or any other sensitive information with third parties without the client's consent, except where required by law.

11. Website Disclaimer

The information on this website is provided in good faith and for general informational purposes only. I make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness or accuracy of the information on this site.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or my services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

I reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of this website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
